A bewitchingly beautiful one bedroom garden flat on Beulah Road.
This utterly charming property is the perfect Village home, offering outside space to compliment the stylish internal spaces. The hub of the flat is the open plan kitchen/reception room. Stretching to 21 feet, it has a plethora of windows on two sides (including a fantastic shuttered bay), ensuring it’s a space filled with light. There is stripped wood flooring underfoot, modern fitted units in the kitchen section, and ample room to cook, dine and relax.
The bedroom and bathroom sit next to each other. The former has more of that stripped wood flooring, exposed brickwork on the chimney breast, and offers views of the rear garden via a large sash window. The bathroom has a sleek three piece suite, including a rainfall shower over the tub.
Wander through the kitchen door and you come into a double glazed conservatory, before then emerging into the garden. The two compliment each other perfectly, with the garden a particular delight. It’s courtyard in style and thus low maintenance, meaning there is more time to enjoy it with a glass of something cold in hand.
Living here... - Being situated on one of the most sought after streets in the Village means the location of this property is hard to beat.
It’s literally a hop, skip and a jump from Orford Road, where just about anything you need can be obtained on the Village’s shopping street. If you need a pint of milk or freshly baked pastries on a Sunday, then pop into the award winning Spar. Or head to Parish Wines for a bottle of bubbly or wine for that weekend BBQ. If you need a caffeine fix, then Froth & Rind is great. Or head to The Village Bakery for the best sandwiches in E17. For some open space wander to Hollow Ponds, and from there continue on and explore the leafy magnificence of Epping Forest.
If you fancy a Saturday night out, then there are eateries and pubs galore in the Village, meaning you will never be short of choice, or head to the Ravenswood to take in the neon splendour of God’s Own Junkyard.
When the weekend is over and work beckons, it’s only a short stroll to Walthamstow Central station for the commute into the City via Overground or Victoria lines.
What more could you ask for?
In The Owners Words... - We have loved living on Beulah Road in this beautiful secluded spot. During lockdown we were so happy to have the garden; it’s perfect for growing veg or just relaxing with a drink. We also took full advantage of having Epping Forest on our doorstep - the great thing about this area is that you can have one foot in the countryside and one in the city, with all the great transport links that Walthamstow offers. As we move on to accommodate our growing family, we’ll miss being so close to the bars, shops, breweries and restaurants in the Village and Wood Street, as well as the active and friendly community - there’s so much to get involved in. The flat is light and open, with plenty of hidden storage and potential to use the space in different ways - over the years the conservatory has been used as a dinner party venue, a home office and a potting shed!
