A simply beautiful four bed, two bath end of terrace house, situated on a peaceful residential street within easy walking distance of Blackhorse Road station.

This property offers over 1200 square feet of internal space. The ground floor has an open plan layout of reception room and kitchen. The former has swathes of built in shelving, and is over 24 feet length. Adjoining is the kitchen, kitted out with sleek, modern cabinetry. Again, there is plenty of space, and it also offers views of the garden via full height windows to the rear.

Upstairs, the bedrooms and bathrooms are evenly split across two floors. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, the larger of which stretches across the full width of the house. The family bathroom has a four piece suite, including double ended bath and walk in shower cubicle.

Ascend to the second floor and you’ll discover the final two bedrooms (one of which is currently configured as an office – very handy) together with a three piece shower room.

Outside there is a low maintenance garden to the rear, with artificial turf lawn (perfect for the kids) and large decked area (perfect for the adults).

Living here... - The location of this house couldn’t be better. Head down Coppermill Lane for a cup of coffee at Springfield Marina and an afternoon exploring the Marshes and Wetlands. (On your way back nip into Crate St James for some amazing street food). Or you could stroll down to Gnome House and take one of the classes there (everything from dance to Pilates) or try your hand at making and mending at Blackhorse Workshop. Alternatively, head the other way and check out Lloyd Park and the award winning gallery therein.

Can’t face cooking on a Sunday? Check out The Chequers for a spot of lunch – their roasts are fabulous. (You could even grab a movie afterwards at The Empire). Weekend over and need to get to work? Blackhorse Road station is close by, meaning the daily commute is just that bit less stressful.

In This Area - By Walthamstow Diary - Blackhorse Road station sits at the junction of Blackhorse Road and Blackhorse Lane. The name is actually a mispronunciation of Black House, a grand old house that once stood near St James Street. Blackhorse Lane has some exciting stuff going on, not least of which is the Blackhorse Workshop. This is a community making space where you can attend woodwork, metalwork and leather work classes. They also host a variety of special events. It is also home to the incredible Wood Street Coffee, who have one of the best brunch menus going. A bit closer to the station is Gnome House, a community centre that is also home to Inky Cuttlefish screen printers. Yasar’s Place is good for kebabs, and Forest Wines just around the corner is a great spot to pick up craft ale and good quality wine. From Blackhorse Lane you can also access the glorious Lea Valley Marshes, which in turn lead to the Walthamstow Wetlands, 211 hectares of open space and reservoirs – the largest urban wetlands nature reserve in Europe. Get lost in the excitement, or lose yourself on the wetlands, the choice is yours.

In The Landlords Words... - This house has been an important part of our lives in the past 6 years.
