A well proportioned and neatly presented one bedroom flat, conveniently located within a stone’s throw of St James Street station.
This first floor conversion offers close on 600 square feet of internal space, with generous and practical rooms throughout. To the front is a full width lounge diner, which is filled with light thanks to the plethora of large windows. Directly behind sits the double bedroom, and then the three piece family bathroom.
At the rear is the kitchen diner. This is incredibly spacious for a one bedroom flat at almost 150 square feet, and has built in units and work surfaces at one end.
This flat is a fantastic opportunity to really put your mark on a first home.
Living here... - Perfectly positioned between the popular Coppermill Lane area and Blackhorse Road, there is a wealth of things to see and do in this wonderful part of E17.
Walk, run or jump on the bikes for a morning ride across Walthamstow Marshes, stopping off for refreshments at Springfield Marina along the way. Alternatively, grab some mates and head to the Douglas Eyre sports centre for a game of five-a-side, stopping for a well earned drink and “recovery” in the Coppermill pub afterwards. How about wandering up the High Street for a spot of lunch at The Chequers, or simply grab a coffee and some amazing grub at the new Crate St James box park?
When the weekend is over and the working week comes back around the morning commute could not be easier with Blackhorse Road Tube and St James Street station both just a short stroll away.
In This Area - By Walthamstow Diary - If you find yourself wandering around St James Street, look to the walls, they have a story to tell you. Don't worry, I've not taken a funny turn, I'm referring to the ghost signs that litter this part of Walthamstow. Faded and flaking though they are, these painted signs give us a glimpse in to the past. These days, there's a lot happening on this little street. How about a pint of lager at the Untraditional Pub in Crate St James, paired with some amazing vegan food from Green Grill, an awesome burger from Baggio Burger or wonderful Vietnamese street food from Hanoi Ca Phe. There are also outdoor cinema nights, quiz nights, comedy nights, workshops, and a range of independent shops in this amazing crate community.
Alternatively, how about the St James Street café – perfect whether it’s breakfast, lunch or pop up dinner.
The station will get you to Liverpool Street in 14 minutes, or if you’re more into pedal power, Walthamstow Cycles are on hand to help.
