Cool, elegant and stylish – just three adjectives of the many that you could apply to this fantastic two bedroom garden flat. Without doubt one of the best rental properties we’ve seen this year, it is beautifully decorated and presented throughout. Add in it’s central E17 location, and you’ve got a flat that is bound to be very popular with potential tenants.
Internally, the flat comprises two bedrooms, lounge, fitted kitchen and modern family bathroom. As we said above, all are presented to the highest order. Outside you will find the rear garden – the perfect space for when summer comes back around.
Like we said, one of the best rental properties we’ve seen...
Living here... - What to do on the weekend? Well, how about a short stroll? Stoneydown Park is literally at the end of the road. Or head in the other direction along Blackhorse Road and channel those hidden artistic skills at Blackhorse Workshop or Gnome House. Can’t face cooking on a Sunday? Wander over to The Chequers for a spot of lunch, or maybe up to The Scene for a movie, followed by a pint in Mirth Marvel & Maude on Hoe Street with its independent shops and bars, or Walthamstow village for cool restaurants and brewery tap rooms. Weekend over and need to get to work? Take your pick of Blackhorse Road and St James Street stations.
In This Area - By Walthamstow Diary - Get off the tube at Walthamstow Central and find the world waiting for you. Honestly, this is no exaggeration - if you want something, you’ll likely find it not too far from the station. The market, the longest in Europe, is busy and thriving. Pick up fresh fruit and veg, or visit the rotisserie stall on a Saturday for the best pork or chicken baguettes in town. Next to the market we have a shopping centre packed with high street names, and right at the top of the High Street you’ll find our cinema and retail complex. Called The Scene, it is home to a ten screen Empire cinema, Pizza Express, and loads of other bars and restaurants. Just around the corner from this new cinema, is a very old one. The Granada opened in 1930, and after a long campaign by local residents it has recently reopened as a bar and live music venue. Now called Mirth, Marvel & Maud, this building is simply stunning. The hustle and bustle of the High Street is contrasted by the quiet residential streets that surround it. This part of Walthamstow really gives you the best of both worlds, a shopping hub, nightlife, and peace and quiet at home.
Speaking of which, if peace and quiet is what you’re after outdoors as well as in, then head over to Walthamstow Wetlands. It’s Europe’s largest urban wetlands, where the blue skies meet the green expanse of the marshes, and the stresses of the day drift away on the breeze...
