When you look at the quality of the finish, and the attention to detail in the presentation and décor, it soon becomes abundantly clear that this two bedroom, split level flat on Ringwood Road has been a real labour of love for the current owners.

This delightful home has a wonderful, open plan kitchen/lounge occupying the front portion of the first floor. Here, the two windows (complete with shutters) allow light to flood in, reflecting off the monochrome walls and highlighting the rich tones of the wood flooring. The kitchen has been fitted with sleek, modern units and work surface, whilst the metro tiled splashbacks are a gentle nod to the age of the house in which this fantastic residence sits. The rest of the first floor comprises a fully tiled, 3 piece family bathroom (with rainfall shower over the bath) and the second of the two bedrooms (complete with extensive build in wardrobes). Both these rooms are as exquisitely presented as the kitchen/lounge...

- Ascend to the second floor and you’ll discover a dual aspect master bedroom, complete with en suite shower room (which like the family bathroom below has under floor heating). Once again, it’s beautifully presented, and must be a peaceful and relaxing space to retire to after the trials and tribulations of the day.

As we said at the start, this is clearly a home the current owners have poured their heart and soul into. The next lucky owners will reap the benefits of that attention to detail.

Living here... - The thing about Ringwood Road is that it is slap bang in the middle of Walthamstow, making it the perfect spot to explore E17 from. Where better to wake up on a weekend morning and relax with a coffee, before bounding out of the door to embrace all the area has to offer? Suitably caffeine-d up, how about wandering through the longest street market in Europe and taking in the latest Hollywood blockbuster at The Scene. Or head out onto the Marshes and experience Walthamstow Wetlands, the biggest urban wetlands area in Europe – on the way you can stop for another coffee (and something delicious to keep you going on your ramble) at the new Crate St James box park. For those who prefer a more intense workout to a gentle stroll, Walthamstow Leisure Centre is on your doorstep, offering everything from squash to badminton, and five-a-side to pilates.

As the day drifts into evening, the area really comes alive, with bars and restaurants aplenty, from cocktails at Mirth Marvel & Maude, pub grub at The Chequers, and sough dough pizza at SoDo. Or you could head a few minutes further East, where the delights of Walthamstow Village await. All this, and only a few minutes’ walk to either Walthamstow Central or St James Street stations. What more could you possibly wish for…?

In This Area - By Walthamstow Diary - Get off the tube at Walthamstow Central and find the world waiting for you. Honestly, this is no exaggeration - if you want something, you’ll likely find it not too far from the station. The market, the longest in Europe, is busy and thriving. Pick up fresh fruit and veg, or visit the rotisserie stall on a Saturday for the best pork or chicken baguettes in town. Next to the market we have a shopping centre packed with high street names, and right at the top of the High Street you’ll find the cinema and retail complex. Called The Scene, it is home to a ten screen Empire cinema, Pizza Express, and loads of other bars and restaurants. Just around the corner from this new cinema, is a very old one. The Granada opened in 1930, and after a long campaign by local residents reopened as a bar and live music venue. Now called Mirth, Marvel & Maud, this building is simply stunning. The hustle and bustle of the High Street is contrasted by the quiet residential streets that surround it. This part of Walthamstow really gives you the best of both worlds, a shopping hub, nightlife, and peace and quiet at home.

In The Owners Words... - "We have been truly lucky to live in this great flat for the last few years. We love the clean open plan layout in the living/kitchen area allowing us to have a chat while making dinner. The master bedroom nice and warm in the winter and then cools straight down in the summer with loads of windows for great airflow. Our neighbours are lovely, quiet and always there to take a parcel for you. This part of Walthamstow is a commuters dream, with Walthamstow Central (10 mins walk), Queens road (5 mins walk) and then St James street (5 mins walk) making it so easy to get anywhere in the
