We really like this Warner flat, and not just because the current owners clearly have great taste in music. (Anyone else spot the framed Cocteau Twins album on the wall?) No, as much as we admire the current owners musical preferences, the reason we love this flat is because it’s so warm and inviting, and filled with light too, as you can see from the photos. Frankly, who wouldn’t want to live here? (We know we would). The flat itself follows the classic Warner layout, with the bay windowed lounge to the front, two almost identical double bedrooms, and mid-point kitchen and bathroom. All are well proportioned and well presented, as is the shared garden to the rear – the perfect spot to relax after a hard day at work. Yes, the more we see it, the more we like this property – it really does feel like it will make the perfect abode for whoever is lucky enough to next call it home…

Living here... - Winns Avenue sits on the Winns Estate, an early example of the imagination and drive of the Warner family. Both take their title from the house of the same name, which is now better known as the (award winning) William Morris Gallery, and which sits in Lloyd Park, named after the publisher Edward Lloyd. His son Frank donated the house and gardens to the local council, and in 1900 the park opened, around the same time that Winns Avenue was being built. It’s historical facts like these, coupled with the vibrancy of modern E17 (we could tell you all about it, but frankly you already know, hence why you want to live here), that make Walthamstow such a unique and exciting place to be. Frankly, you would be daft not to want to live here.
