This semi detached Victorian property, located right in the heart of Walthamstow Village, is delightful. Wander inside and see what we mean. The two reception rooms either side of the entrance hall both have engineered wood flooring, lending a richness and warmth to the spaces. We can just imagine curling up in either during the winter months, with a good book and an even better glass of wine. The galley style kitchen and family bathroom sit to the rear of the ground floor, and both are modern and well presented. Upstairs, there are two fairly evenly sized double bedrooms, again located either side of the stairwell. The garden to the rear can be accessed via the sideway (very handy if your preferred form of transport is the bicycle) as well as from the house, and will undoubtedly come into its own in the warmer months, when family and friends can be entertained al fresco. As we said, this house is a delight – it really is as simple as that…
Living here... - It’s difficult to imagine being more centrally located with the Village than on Eden Road. Stroll down Eden Road itself and check out the menu at The Castle (our favourite is the quinoa and beetroot burger – try it, it’s fab) or head in the other direction towards Orford Road, where the culinary choices are pretty much endless (Eat 17, Village Kitchen, Orford Saloon, The Queens Arms – need we go on?) Follow the sounds of the bells at St Mary’s and nip into The Ravenswood, where the neon is permanently glowing at God’s Own Junkyard and the beers are always chilled at the multiple breweries. If you need to get further afield (or it’s the dreaded Monday morning commute to work) then Walthamstow Central station is just a short walk down the hill. Centrally (and thus perfectly) located, whatever the occasion…
